  • 450 N (100 lbf) force capacity
  • Clamp design with hex drive nuts for locking
  • Open face for easy specimen installation and removal
  • Corrosion resistant design
  • Lightweight - 79 gram moving mass

Platens - 25 mm

Platens for BOSE Electroforce 3200
These platens are used for compression applications. They can be used for dynamic characterization of viscoelastic materials or for testing the durability of various components. Their lightweight titanium construction makes them highly suitable for use with the ElectroForce® 3200 instrument.
Specification:
  • 25 mm (.98 inch) specimen diameter
  • Corrosion resistant design
  • Lightweight - 9 gram moving mass
  • 10-32 UNF threaded mounting hole

Load cells

Load cell for BOSE Electroforce 3200
The two Low Force Cells are tension/compression cells available in the BM3 lab have a welded stainless steel construction designed to minimize the effects of off-axis forces. The structure is modified to provide an optional submersible capability. These cells have 220N (50 lbf.) and 22N (5 lbf.) of force capacity.

A comprehensive list of all available accessories (grips, load cells, sample chambers, etc.) can be found on BOSE Electroforce website.
Control for the ElectroForce® 3200 instrument is provided by the WinTest® digital control system. WinTest's intuitive design enables the user to quickly setup complex test routines with minimal training.
